January’s Pick: Anna and the King

I finally got Anny and the King from the library yesterday.  I wonder if I got the wrong edition — it looks a little short.  Has anyone else started reading?

I’m reading it! and it’s NOT short, mines almost 400 pages long with smaller type print. Not the Harry Potter large type if you know what I mean. I’m enjoying it. It is my second time through it.

Mine’s 400 pages of small type-maybe I got the wrong one. Maybe I’ll just read yours.

You may have gotten the wrong version. The book is about 250 or more pages long. Jocelyn also got the condenced version and didn’t realize it until we had all confressed that we had not finished the book yet or even started it!

Alright, I must have the abbreviated version, but I think that I will keep it. I am not sure if I am up to a 400 page read right now.

I have started reading it and am trying to get it done before we meet. It’s almost 400 pages. I have too much to do and don’t seem to have the time to read.

Hey Jana: you should try the abbreviated version. This thing is crazy short. (If all else fails, you can always watch the movie).

Sorry, the movie won’t work for you . . . it is VERY different! (we who read the book would be able to tell the difference!)
